Now, in a series of compact pedals, Peavey gifts players with one-to-one re-creations of the famed preamp sections of classic Peavey amps. Admittedly so, this Decade reboot caught Peavey by surprise. The original Peavey Decade amp found a new resurgence (and heightened price point on used-gear sites) after Josh Homme, guitarist and founding member of Queens of the Stone Age, innocuously name-checked the amp when answering a question regarding QOTSA's distinctive sound. Peavey subsequently partnered with Josh on the Peavey Decade Too amp, which led to duplicating the results for this Decade preamp pedal. This stompbox pays homage to the '80s amplifier by featuring a replication of the Decade’s original preamp circuit,
